Challenge
The client was a high-profile marketplace for NGOs and skilled remote volunteers.
This was an intense two-month redesign sprint with a ten-person remote team—using the Figma app—to generate +100 new key pages.
The client already had a distributed design team using Figma, which allowed us to lead their team in a highly optimized workflow using Figma’s real-time collaboration design tools.
Solution The trick was to establish a solid wireframe base that consisted of components (symbols) that way once a design library and guidelines were established, the wireframes can easily be updated with a new design skin. Daily continuous design reviews and cross-team discussions were done via screen-sharing while one person drives were done in Figma. Collaborative designing in Figma was a magical experience and one that saved us about 30% of the time and money in our iterations.
