a Memoir is a private-beta, voice-first product that helps people tell their life stories in their own words. As founder and product designer, I led the concept, product strategy, conversation UX, visual design, and beta delivery. I designed a mobile-first experience for speaking with an AI interviewer, following live captions, controlling a session, and revisiting saved transcripts.

Because the material can be deeply personal, I focused on clear save states, signed-in access, and preserving the storyteller’s original words. I also used ASH, a second AI app, to run synthetic conversation evaluations against the nuanced Soul file with a comprehensive QA scoring system.

The findings informed prompt and UX refinements. The current beta focuses on capturing and revisiting conversations; memoir drafting and publishing are future directions.
